Former comptroller indicted in Ohio

The former comptroller for the city of Chicago is indicted in Ohio on federal corruption charges. Amer Ahmad abruptly resigned as city comptroller just three weeks ago. In Ohio, he's accused of being involved in a half-million dollar kick-back scheme involving state investment business. Ahmad served as Ohio's deputy treasurer and chief financial officer before coming to Chicago. When he resigned his job here, Mayor Rahm Emanuel praised for helping "reform government" in the city. One of his attorneys says he plans to plead not guilty.
