911 calls released in Arlington Heights fatal standoff

The 911 calls have been released of a conversation a suspect had with Arlington Heights police before the suspect was killed. 41 year-old Eric Anderson was threatening his girlfriend with a gun inside her mother's home last Thursday night in the 1900 block of Windham Court.. Veteran officer Michael McEvoy was first to make contact with Anderson, and was shot in the jaw. Right after Anderson shot officer McEvoy, Anderson called 911. Anderson was later killed when he pointed a gun at officers. "We're expecting him to make a full recovery, although it will be a long recovery," said Arlington Heights Police Commander Andrew Whowell.
